Ferry, traveling with your bicycle.
When it comes to travelling with your bike, there are few methods more convenient than going by ferry. In most cases, it's simply a case of rolling into the port, walking on board pushing your wheels and then heading to the passenger deck.
There are several operators to choose from offering destination along the European west cost. Including Euro Tunnel for landlubbers.

You can travel with your bicycle on a sail/rail-ticket – the cost is €10 each way.

On the route to Spain cycles are included in the ticket price.
Portsmouth to Spain (Santander and Bilbao), or Plymouth to Santander.

The fare is the same for adults and children with cycles. Children accompanying their parents on a child seat travel free of charge. Tandems are charged by the number of seats.

United Seaways will run a weekly service, it is not know at this time if cyclist will be able to use this route I have ask the operators for information.
