Wet Weather

We will get wet that is one of the guarantees when you go cycle touring and every tour we have been on so far the rain has poured, drizzled and arrived horizontal.

For our adventures, we have upgraded and added to our inclement weather gear. It can be pricey buying the top of the range Gore-tex. So with a little bit of research we found a company called Randy Sun selling jackets, socks and gloves at affordable prices. Our complete setup cost less than 150 euros. Including our trousers from decathlon.

We have now used the gear on tour and I can say we were kept dry. The socks you can stand in a puddle. The gloves work but make sure your jacket is over the gloves on your wrist. It can get a little sticky inside the jacket even with vents.

Nothing keeps you 100 percent dry. Randy Sun did a great job for us.
